hey IM shocked that you guys have already forgotten the history. It started with Dargins M.O.G. (Martini olive green, hence the martini inlays) Bongo that Bovine has lusted after. I never missed a chance to ridicule the bass and then on one f the on line exchanges I sugested we make them At first it was just going to be Dargies MOG Bongo but I opened it up to all models. (almost)

I guess I'd never really known the complete history as I didn't get really active on here until after that history (Dargie's Bongo, Jack's liking it) had unfolded.

Thread Hijack alert!

So Foggy, now that you've been an owner for a while, what do you think? Is owning an MM everything you hoped it would be? Do you still get goosebumps when you open the case like I do? Don't ya love that smell? :D

Multiversal, you are not the only NOOB on this forum. I was wondering the same thing. (My lady refers to them as the "martini guitars".)

Roburado and Spudmurphy, thanks for the info. I did not know that "Dargin" was Scott's screen name, either. He was a big help to me when I first got my JP6 a couple of years ago.

I would like to know how all you guys can get all those photos up without exceeding the max file size for attachments. I must be missing something but I will try to get my DD JP7 up here when I can.

Pete/Nick....do you guys still have any of those DD straps for sale...cause if you do I would love to buy one from you (or anyone for that matter).

Thanks!

Morsecode,
If you host your photos on a website, like photobucket, then you can copy the image code they provide and paste it straight into your message and the photo will appear like magic!!
Please post pics of your beautiful guitar or it doesn't exist!

Photobucket automatically resizes the pics for you.
If they are large files, you may just have to wait a little longer.
As for sizing them yourself, there are 2 ways to do this. The first is actually making the physical size of the image smaller, which you seem to be doing. The second is making the file size smaller, which doesn't always (but sometimes) means making the image size smaller.
Capito! ;)

No, we are all out. I ordered the straps through Nick at Double Treble -Quality, Custom Guitar Straps, New Jersey You'd better sit down before he tells you the price

I emailed the guy yesterday about the Dargie JP, and it was listed 2 days before that. No reply.

At least he could reply if he sold it already?

Oh well.

yeah, but when I try to link up the photobuck attachments the file sizes are way to big and I end up only downsizing the picture the size of a thumbnail.

Are you trying to attach the picture to the post? If so, that's not what you want to do. Just paste the image code directly into the post.
