I have considered putting locking tuners on my Axis - an easy mod to do yourself.

Most of the mods I would want are just cosmetic in nature - you could do them yourself or have someone else do them for you. I'm really happy with what I've got. My next project is to get an AL (hopefully used for a good price!) SSS w/trem and have it painted Daphne blue & load it with Kinman Woodstocks or Gilmour EMGs. We'll see! :)

For purposes of this thread I vote for rosewood boards for ALs!!! Then I can order a white one and put a mint green guard on with aged white knobs and pickup covers!!!

Hooooaaaahhhh.

And that one mod is kicking ass and taking names. This means watch out all you negligent post makers. I will reign down on you with the fury of ten Matrixes! Ten times the leather costumes! Ten times the ridiculous stunts! Ten times the Keanu!

*ahem* Pinkburst for every guitar.

I realized there are photos of the proto w/o the binding around (I'm sure someone has a better photo) - I love it.

OMG that second photo is staggering !!

I am not one for quilt - but I'd love a guitar like that.
OK mark me down for an AL no pickguard in that finish (is that 2 mods ??)

Here is mine.

I rest my hand on the bridge when playing lead and I find it awkward having to curl my pinky around the volume knob. I would move the knob and my Supersport would be even more perfect.

Didn't really feel the need.

You know Spud... I didn't have to mod your post, because you caught it. As long as you are aware that you're doing something wrong, you can work towards rectifying it in the future. I am taking a new mod position. It's now the positive reinforcement tactic, as seen on Dr. Phil. Hahahahaha.

focus on the wrongdoing, and then change it for the better. Don't get down or let people attack you. Just be who you are and be happy. Hahahahaha!

I think I am still big into the notion of offering the guitars with no pickguard (or at least a clear one) for this next LE. If there was a big quilt like on that Morse guitar, a pikguard would just kill it. High fives for clear pickguards and internal routing!
