Cheers going to look in the Hybrid strings.
A mate of mine bought a Silhouette recently,it's a 1990 model,he's got 10's on that but hasn't had the same problem,would the Silo have the 25.5'' scale?

Cheers wasn't sure if there had been a design change in the last 15 years.
I tuned my guitar down half a step thinking that would reduce the tension and it would play a bit easier but no joy.
I also laid a piece of card over the strings to give a better idea of their heights,the e and b are so much lower that now i'm now sure it's a setup issue as opposed to the different scale.
It's hard to believe a Professional Tech could do such a bad job.
