2003 Music Man Petrucci, Black, 6-String, Inlays, Matching Headstock, Non-piezo - S/N: G22732, Birtdate: 04-15-03

and one that is new to me:

Music Man Petrucci, White Sparkle, 6 String, Non-Piezo - S/N: G17633

Could You please help me out on its birthdate?

Sinnister, sorry, that's very little to no help .. it is probably a Silhouette Special or Albert Lee built between 1997 and 1999, but that's about all I can guess without the complete serial number. Please send me an email at [email protected] with the complete number and I can tell you more. If the guy doesn't want to give you the complete number, I would surmise that he is hiding something ...

G34620 was completed on 1/16/07 and was shipped to Massachussetts Street Music in Lawrence, Kansas.
G34454 (Carbon Blue Pearl/maple) was completed on 1/12/07and was shipped to Musician's Friend.

There were less than 25 made of this exact guitar with these specifications from September 1996 until about April of 1999. Your particular piece was in the first part of the run, built on January 31 1997and shipped to the Netherlands.

There were around 250 overall of the Pearl Purple Silhouette Special guitars built. Nice color.
