Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone had any pics of a JP6 in Mystic Dream with a non-matching headstock and dot inlays (Foggy?). I'm going to be getting a JP in the next couple of weeks and I'm just trying to see what I want. Thanks in advance.

Ya most prefer matching headstock. But if your a bass player wanting a guitar a JP without Inlays, Piezo( I don't know if you want that or not) or Headstock is a fine choice. It will still play as normal JP would except the look would be different and if you want more sounds (Piezo) ...well thats up to you.

Good luck!

I'd prefer dot inlays on mine, but with a matching headstock. But I got mine from a store already made with full options, and did'nt have a choice. Luckily I got the mystic dream colour though...

Hehe, my frame of thought on anything is "all, or nothing." So, if you're going to get the $400+ extra cost MD finish, might as well go for a loaded guitar with the JP inlays, and especially the painted headstock!!! If you're gonna go for something a little more basic, without piezos or matching headstock with dot inlays, get the Pearl Redburst...it doesn't cost extra, and it looks really nice, and it just so happens to also be a JP-only colour, so the uniqueness will still be there. Just my opinion, LoL.

i suppose there is some truth in that
the only problem is.....I dont really like signature series guitars, the scroll on the headstock is too much for me so Thats why I didnt get the shield inlay

as for the piezo's I wish I had them now!!!

and the matching headstock is a must

I dont like sig. but this truly is the best guitar money can buy,you have to make some sacrifices
