so im constantly GASing for more MM guitars. depending on the month ill be dreuling over something new and tempting myself with random IMs or text message with pete. LoL sometimes i pull the trigger sometimes i dont.

so anywho... today i was learning some of Slash's solos and every once in a while id switch guitars thinkng "hey this would be fun to play with a single coil neck pup" so i grab the axis sport or "oh, the Luke neck is nice - i should use that one for a while" then i think "woah, the 20th would be rad for this".

after doing this for a bit it kinda hit me; the reason i keep wanting more balls is cuz they're all pretty different in their own awesome way. i like that variety a lot.

now im thinking an HSH should be fun as hell so im wanting a silo. and an ASS woudl be rad cuz of the 5 way switching.

Funny you mention this, I've been wearing my fingers out the past week or so working on some of his stuff... I picked up the G'nR vol 2 DVD from Lick Library.

...and I'm gassing big time for an Axis Super Sport. I might have a line on one, but I put in a call to Pete for pricing in case that one doesn't work out.

Variety, I love it. And need it, I like being able to keep them in differnet tunings depending on what I might want to play. 20th is 1/2 step flat, Sil Spec is drop D the Luke and Petrucci are in standard tuning.

the honeyburst was available in other gtrs....the body is ash which is fabulous I prefer it to the alder ones.....I'm pretty sure that this guitar has the molex connector that makes it easy to change the pickguard and pickup config.

Bottom line a great guitar for a really special price....its a keeper with the flame neck too!

ya honeyburst is one of my favs. ever since i went to randy's house and check out his honeyburst sr4 ive been dying to get something in that finish.

ya the price was a no brainer. the dude had a the "best offer" option available but i did not wanna risk loosing out on such a rad deal for a few buck of haggling.

im really stoked! this purchase made my day
