They belong to ernie1966. He about 40ish of them.
The sparkles were available with the regular colour selections and were discontinued due to weak sales.
Now they're well sought after.

also If I could make a suggestion to this thread

perhaps change the thread title to JP Picture thread becuase there are already a great mixture of 6&7 string JP's in here :)

hopefully this can be sticky'd too

great resource for JP fans

I have learnt alot about the Jp history/development already

That proto ain't Copperhead Bronze, it's a chromalusion finish like Mystic Dream.
They called it Black Fire, but Mr. Petruuci passed on this finish and went with MD as his signature color.

I know of only one Copperhead Bronze Pet made, which was for a NAMM show.
I wish I had that one.

I bleeb the Copper head is actually called Black Fire and is one of the protos. If I remember correctly, Ernie had posted some time ago that JP didn't particularly like the color, so it wasn't offered. If you look closely you'll see that the control knobs are the top-hat style, and the arm scoop isn't present. There's a simple angle much like on the BFR JP instead.

oops... just saw Ernie's post.... carry on
