Thanks for the info Rob, that must have been one of the most amazing things to experience in a live setting.

I'm still speechless at how incredible that was, Steve Morse has such a majestic sound about his playing

Also, he's so exceptional in so many styles. I'll bet most country players who hear his country tunes wish they could write and play that well. And It was Steve's early classical compositions with the dregs that got me to appreciate classical music. Now he's rocking with DP for what...13 years now?

Runaway Train is a brilliant country tune, even AL would have a hard time with that one!

By the way, Rob, do you know General Lee (on The Introduction) and Rockin'Guitars (on Stand Up). Here, you hear Albert and Steve play together ...
You have also on Marcel Dadi albums some nice country tunes with Steve and Albert (and also great guys like Bela Fleck ...)

yep, i love Rockin Guitars and General Lee- ive been working on them for ages now!!!

I also have that Marcel dadi stuff, hes fantastic. I came across the Morse stuff with Dadi by accident, 12 years ago i was heavily into the acoustic scene and was learning all of Chet Atkin's stuff, and i found a few Marcel Dadi videos, and i got some of his cd's and found the Morse tunes, superb! I didnt even know who Albert Lee was back then!
