Most of mine are EBMM's these days too...I've got only two that arent, a Suhr and that Ibeenhad 7....and that'll change in time as well mostlikely...Love the Silhouettes...they're my favorite...Wish a la NorM that there was a sevenstring silo...

yeah they are the best alright. i just cant enjoy any other brands anymore, every time a student hands me their strat or Ibanez or Gibson to tune up for their lesson it just feels so weird and cheap in my hands. great problem to have i figure! I even managed to get one of my students to buy an AL off ebay!

The only non EBMM electrics I own are 1. my first electric/Epiphone Les Paul 2. Mint G&L Blonde Legacy and 3. Closeout cheap Yamaha Bass.

I keep the Epiphone for sentimental reasons, the G&L for guests to play since resale value is attrocious(My upcoming AL will replace this) and the Yamaha for laying down simple root,3,5 chord notes to play over (Although down the line I will look to replace it w/ a MM bass)

By the way GHWelles, did you ever get a buyer for the amp?

All EBMM needs to build is an acoustic guitar and a mandolin, and then all my guitars will be EBMM.

I'm getting rid of my last remnants of non-EBMM electrics. Once my Silo shows up on Friday or Saturday, I'll be 100% Ernie Ball. (At least on strings and guitars)

I've found my guitar company for life. It's EBMM or nothing. Hands down . . . the best guitars I've ever played.

My BCB AL is #1 for me, and the LEAL I'm still getting used to.
My Les Paul I could never part with, just because of the memories that it holds.

EB has won me over - unfortunately about 30 years too late.

+1

the JP sits side by side with my other #1. Old wood. Me '59 Gibson JR. Mind you, they do not share the same sonic attributes nor cosmetics nor anything else. But rather compliment each other. I also love VOXes and the JR is more at home in a vox same as the JP is at home in my Lonestar. However, has religated my other electrics to afterthought mode.

What an interesting Thread. I sold 4 guitars in order to pay for my JP6!! An American Tele, Ibanez Prestige, Fender Bass and Ibanez Artcore. Absolutely NO regrets!

Will I get another EBMM? No clue... doubt it as I am not looking to get any more guitars. I have 4 now... at one point I had 11.

EBMM JP6 - My current main axe
89 Les Paul - First guitar, major mojo and memories
91 Strat - Second guitar, frankenstiened and a darn good sounding guitar
03 SG w/p90s - one of the few guitars I bought that sounded spectacular from the get go (although if something needs to be sold, it'll be the SG).

The JP6 is the most professional guitar that I have ever owned... it feels modern. When folks ask me to compare my Les Paul to the JP6 I compare saying that the LP is like a 57 chevy Bel Air and the JP6 is like a 07 Porche.

Rock on

I used to occasionally pick up a non-EBMM bass just because I was feeling slutty.

A few of them were decent instruments. So then, foolishly, I'd play them at a gig or something and Larry or Paul would snap a few photos, which BP would then ruthlessly hunt down.

So I stopped doing that after being called "Lipstick Boy" and other choice names.

Besides, I knew I was cheating and I always felt trashy in the morning.

It is really interesting...Ill use any of our basses...whatever shows up at the gig. I have this roadie named Dudley and his capable right hand man Derek Brooks. THese kids have potential. Usually it is a single h bongo but can be anything.

On the guitar side It is most of the time a hard tail so it is rare that I get to play the Luke or JP...I love the axis hardtail and the supersport hardtail the Albert is brilliant in both single h and mm90 and the Silhouette special and silo are always fun. Most of the time it is a 20th silo which is my current fav of all.

Because I was involved in all of their designs I love all of them. They are leach very cool....)did I mention that I am a little biased?)

Man am I glad to read this. I made the mistake of going to Guitar Center because my brother wanted me to go with him for some drum stuff. I was happy and gas-free until I saw that they had a good collection of EBMM guitars... Axis, Luke, Silo 20th... Then I picked up the JP6.
My JP7 is in my hands most of the time and is by far my best sounding guitar. The JP6 neck fit so perfectly in my hands that I just have to have it. I'm contemplating on trading in several of my guitars for it but kept getting those guilty feelings. Good to see that someone else has already gone ahead.
