Alas, I have no Balls. I'm very interested in a Morse or Y2D, but my local EBMM distributor (GC) doesn't stock any, and I'm not ordering one without trying it first.

I'm the odd ball I suppose...

Out of 36 guitars/basses, 6 are EBMM: SR4, SR5, Silo Bass, Luke 1, JP7 and the "missing in action" BFR Petrucci 6.

Each & every one of my guitars have their own unique features & sounds...they are all dear to my heart. Anderson, Hamer, Dean, Suhr, PRS, Ibanez (J Custom), Gibson, Peavey Wolfgang, Fender, Lakland, Warwick ect...I could never subscribe to one particular brand..even if I was being paid.

However when tape was rolling this week (actually disc but who cares) the Luke was the star. I'm really digging that one.

It is really interesting...Ill use any of our basses...whatever shows up at the gig. I have this roadie named Dudley and his capable right hand man Derek Brooks. THese kids have potential. Usually it is a single h bongo but can be anything.

On the guitar side It is most of the time a hard tail so it is rare that I get to play the Luke or JP...I love the axis hardtail and the supersport hardtail the Albert is brilliant in both single h and mm90 and the Silhouette special and silo are always fun. Most of the time it is a 20th silo which is my current fav of all.

Because I was involved in all of their designs I love all of them. They are leach very cool....)did I mention that I am a little biased?)

Sand to the beach, Keith, sand to the beach.

Yeah, I know. Like bringing a date to the playboy mansion...but with the alternate tuning stuff in Dallas I had to play a hardtail silo and axis ss and they just didn't feel like my beloved faves.

If other hard tail fanboys wanna play it, just ask.

I am pissed about my EBMM guitars.

Before I discovered these EBMM guitars, I had collected some very nice guitars.

-Rare Blackmore Set-Neck Strat (50 or so made)
-Rare Ibanez PS-1000BK 20th Anniversary Model (500 made)
-Korina Dean V
-Custom Jackson Soloist [GMW completely rebuilt with Maple top and back and vintage bridge.]

Now I never play these old guitars, because they just don't play as well or sound as good as the EBMM's.

Oh well, the old guitars are nice wall art I guess. Anybody want to buy some guitars?
:)

I really feel your pain, before I played a JP I was actually starting to make and sell guitars with my own branding. I was on instrument #78 (mostly 5 string basses). After that fateful day of trying that JP and several other MM instruments (basses and guitars) I said forget it, there already is and has been, (much to my ignorance) a company putting care and quality into instruments like no other.

So these days when a customer asks me to make a guitar/bass or which guitar I recommend I tell them to buy a music man. Two people so far have come back with Silo's, one new one used.

I'm starting to think MM instruments emit some type of mind altering (brainwashing) signal.
The leader is good, the leader is great, buy a music man instrument as of this date.......Sipmsons fans will get it LOL

Yeah, I'm pissed off, too. I cannot play mine until it gets repaired. It's in real bad shape. :(

Gotta send it in!
