Hello guys, first message here

I have an old LUKE I Pearl red with the following serial number:

95343

Bought this guitar 15 years ago in Tokyo where I live.

Could you tell me when it was producted?
Interesting stuff, it doesn't have any hole for the battery.

Thank you very much.

Another, saw your post , I wasn't intentionally ignoring you. There was something I was trying to remember about the first Lukes that went out regarding the battery. I can tell you that your guitar was completed on 5/18/94 and it was shipped to Japan. The battery on the earliest Lukes was stowed somewhere else, but I can't remember where. I will get back to you on that part ...

Nice guitar though - :D

Brett, that do make a difference!:eek::D

This guitar is shown to be a Trans Purple EVH shipped on 4/5/95 and shipped to Rawson's Music in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Nice!

Uh oh - that's not what it is. Let me get my friend to go back to the seller and write it down again.

Oh no, you are welcome, that's my mistake. I believed nobody saw my post. Thank you very much.

Actually the battery is inside the control cavity. There is a separated carved wood cavity inside it, just for the battery.
It is funny because I have another Luke I pearl blue which is from '94 too, but it has a plastic battery cover :)
