Just got back from the local pub - great band - the Bass player played an EB too!

Who should get up on stage? Phil Campbell from Motorhead and played "Purple Rain"
- awesome!!!

It was - he doesn't live too far from Cardiff. I didn't recognise him at first.

Last Xmas it was Paul Chapmann ex UFO - see all the stars get to the pub Phil, Paul and ME !! ha!

No Colin - what a bumma! I was with a friend and his wife and she had a video camera in her bag - which she told me about later!!
My (works) phone is like a house brick and just about makes phone calls let alone take pics Ha!
If I get to hear of any I'll let ya know.

That guy was just an awesome player in his teens too!

Great that guys out there recognise him.

I'd heard a rumour before I saw him that he had died so you can imagine my shock when I saw him !!!

That would be fun - I'd need about 2 years advance notice to get to a bash like that!

Ha! I bet it's a funny Lemmy story - in return I could tell you about a little competition that Phil and the other guitarist gets up to involving "fridge doors" !!!- but it's too much of a family forum. :eek:

I paid £2.00 for a pint and it's £1.80 in another local!!
Good beer too - Brains Beer (as noted in the CAMRA "bible" - campaign for real ale)
