Okay, so I don't get it. Why is this color gray bordering on silver? Was there some kind of joke regarding it that I am just not in tune with? Nonetheless, calling it blue, or gray or silver or neon orange doesn't matter. It's a hot color.

Has it ever been on anything other than the Luke? I always wanted to see a Silhouette Special in that color. I actually want one. Anyone have anything they can show me to further my jones?

It may seem gray most of the time, but it does have a slight shade of blue.
It's not called royal blue!

It's a great colour. I wish it were available on the other EBMMs as well.

it is blue very light silver blue...it is very similar color to some 1960's general motors cars

60's retro Luke wanted it and we painted it for him. Like the mystic dream it is exclusive to the artst that requested it.

Same here, I don't know should I call it Luke Blue or Luke Grey?
In these 2 picts the shade of the color is different.
But I love mine anyway.

Ooooh. The initial challenge is laid, suggesting a frozen dog would be eaten... now the game has been upped! Ask Luke for us Bovine. Your Bongo, my Sil. Spec... everyone would be in bliss.

The tension is thick enough to cut with a cleaver folks!

I'd eat a frozen dog if I could get a Bongo in that color.

You don't have to get a Luke Blue Bongo to have frozen dog. I'm sure you could get this off the menu at your favourite Chinese restaurant!
You should be cautious of what you say just before major EBMM gatherings!

So, would one say that Egyptian Smoke is the closest to gray or silver available on the Silhouette Special? Reason I'm so keen on the gray/silver thing, is that I saw Robert Cray in concert a few days ago, and it rekindled my love for his Inca Silver Strat. It's just a silver with white pickguard and rosewood. Hardtail, so nothing too fancy at all.

I am going to order a Sil. Spec that is reminiscent of that guitar, because it's very classy. So, egyptian smoke is the new gray?

Anyone have photos of this color on a Sil. Spec?
