Reading all these great stories here, I would like to read some about two of my biggest influences - Steve Morse and Albert Lee.

Anyone care to oblige?

I've meet Steve Morse a few times after Dregs shows. He was always very polite and curteous. He actually comes off a bit shy and very humble. You would think a guy that talented would have a huge ego, but it seems to be the exact opposite.

It's been posted here many times that Albert Lee is the same.
I've met him twice.
The first time he signed my guitar and had a great chat with me about it.

The second time he was equally as engaging with the fans.

A good friend of mine saw him "all on his lonesome" after a gig in Cardiff and said how great a guy he was to talk to.

I bet BP can chime in with some great stories?

I'm hoping...

I know he's busy running the EBMM empire and trying to keep all us here in line and behaved.

Almost every video I have of Albert (mostly instructional) has him playing bass. Talk about a humble guy; the Starlicks video, done in the early 80's has Albert introducing BP as joining him on bass to help him demo the B-bender on his Phil Kubiki Tele. BP looked like - get the camera off me and lets just play. On the Albert Lee "Highlights" DVD, BP plays all the bass and rips it up on Country Boy with a bass that was too cool. I don't watch Albert's instructional vids for the teaching. I gave that up a long time ago. I watch'em for the joy of seeing the performances.

for sure - I love those DVD's with "Biff". I have another one "winging its way to me" right now. (Country boy Tutorial DVD).

I wish Albert and BP would do some more!!!
- maybe around BP's mansion ;)

THe next night I said " BIg, Im taking the mike your are kelling the crowd with boredom" "Oh Dear, Thank you so much

I got it, I guess it was because he's either British or a true gentleman; or both....
