the buttercream silo looks amazing !
Whats ya favourite ????

As of this moment:

Most versatile (for my needs)
1). Sunburst Silo Special HSS hands down
2). Tobacco Burst ASS
3). Luke
4). 20th Silo

Favorite "best" tone:
1). 20th Silo hands down
2). Rosewood ASS
3). Albert Lee
4). Either MM90 equipped ASS
5). Sunburst Silo Special HSS

Best playing/setup:
1). Pacific BlueBurst ASS
2). The rest of them :D

Best looking
1). Honeyburst ASS
2). Pacific BlueBurst
3). 20th Silo

Right now, I'm really into the last one I bought, the Silo Special HSS. While the 20th, the Rosewood ASS, the AL, and the MM90s all have a specific tone or two that is awesome, the versatility of this pickup combination on the Silo Special sort of makes it my "if you could only have one guitar" guitar. You can't get a bad sound out of it with any amp. I find myself playing it all the time.

The PBB seems to be the crowd favorite. Would you believe I was visiting my in-laws in another state, happened into a music store, asked if they had any EBMMs, and they had this one in the back still in the shipping carton? And, that this is a standard top? :D

My HoneyBurst ASS was already on order, but when I saw and played this PBB, I just had to have it. It was my first EBMM guitar, and as I played it in the store, I kept waiting for something to disappoint: a dead spot on the neck, a buzz somewhere on a fret, a string that was too loud or too soft, wouldn't stay in tune...all those little idiosyncracies we've become used to. This PBB had NONE. It plays perfectly and in tune all the way up the neck, sounds amazing, and really makes you "go for it" and try to play a little beyond yourself.

This PBB started it all for me :)

Hey GuitarHack do you still own others brands of guitars? I know I am still enjoying the guitar I bought from you earlier in the year!

Andy:

I'm glad you're enjoying her, that is a fantastic guitar. I still have two PVs I'm keeping, one is the one my wife gave me for Christmas in 1999, the other is a hardtail. I also have a handful of TAs and a Martin OMJM.

Before anybody flames me about the PVs...my experience with that particular guitar led me to try it's ancestor, the Axis. Without the PVs, I wouldn't have found EBMM. :)

Regards,
Hack

I agree,that PBB is insane!!!

lovely guitars,keep buying them balls

The next one better come with a divorce lawyer :). Seriously, my wonderful wife gave me the go ahead to but a BFR Luke I found at Guitar Center in Atlanta. I almost did, but I'm keeping my powder dry for a BFR Albert Lee.

Thankfully, I haven't caught the JP or SM bug...yet.
