And so near soho too! - The only time I visit London and all the tubes are bust - so I had to hang out in Denmark street till I could be bothered to fight or a cab to get me to the airport.....

Only 1 shop in the entire street had some balls (unless you were a bass player in which case you couldn't miss 'em)

Used EVH - (wanted more money than buying your own island)
Luke - got one
JP - Really must get into that one day.....

Sil Spec with a rosewood board, nice but I had lost the will to live with the salesman by this point....

But I did get me some more wonderwipes, I had bought a small can over the internet - but man the BIG can is HUGE!

Sorry about the wonder wipes pics - trying to show the icrease in size!

u werent staying long? u didnt ask azzy or i for a drink? should we be hurt?

Tiffles, I promise if I was planning to be there I would have posted before and hooked up with ye all.... I only get dragged to our head office in Baker St every couple of years, and I like my rurual living, London is like life on fast forward! and nobody speaks english!

I only had a couple hours - most of which I used to walk from Baker St to victoria as you get a Mr Horsepower easier than a cab!

I promise next time dinner and drinks on me.....

Smelly.

always reminds me how good a guitar shop can be run,the best customer service(except my local soundcontrol where I know all the employees :D)

I asked if they had a Fulltone Ultimate Octave, but they didnt so as I was waiting on my tickets for the greg koch clinic(they werent supposed to be going off on sale till next week but they got them for me)I played a £4800 str@t and then all their balls

great service highly recommend it,also a guitar shop with a few balls, not the best variety but about 4 or 5 which is alot over here in scotland

I used to work for sound control back in 95 - I tried my first ball there - a hard tail RVH in red - it was £1699 and took forever to sell,

They must be worth that and maybe more now i guess....

Axis is such a better guitar,

Guitar Guitar is headed up by former SC partner Kip McBay, he never liked me!:)

Mesa, what EBMMs do they have at GG in Glasgow at the moment, if you don't mind me asking?

Smelly - I try to have a wander along Denmark Street if I'm in London. I saw my first EBMM Ltd Edition at the big Sound Control in the basement at the Virgin Megastore along the road from Denmark St., it was a 2005 Buttercream Luke - very nice!

Had to hunt high and low there to find the EBMM guitars though (all 2 of them), they were round a corner from the main displays - I walked right past them a few times, and I was specifically looking for them!

Smelly et all (in Scotland) BEWARE!!!
I'll be up there for the first 2 weeks in October in East Kilbride followed by a week in Newcastle then a couple of daze in Liverpool.
The beauty of it is I'll be starting work around 2:00 pm and finishing at 10:00, so I'll be able to get to see some geetar shops.
I was in Guitar Guitar Newcastle a couple of weeks ago but alas - no balls!!

Smelly, get "posing" for the 2008 calendar!! - I love this month on the calendar - dedicated to "Monsieur Chevaux Power".

I was in London last week and only one shop in Denmark street had any EBMM's, but they were just so overpriced... but then Denmark street always is, and the service is just the worst you could imagine...I don't like the place if I'm honest... there are much better shops in the UK... I did find some SUB's at very good price in Soundcontrol below Virgin on Oxford street... if anyone wants to pull the trigger on one you should give them a call...:)

I think Denmark Street is the last place on earth I would buy a guitar. Daft prices and bad attitude with sales staff put me off.

It was great place to buy a guitar in 1973 - I had a cracking deal on my Les Paul.
How times have changed.
Edit
Those prices in Souncontrol for the Subs are " a steal" !!!
