Piezo acoustics in ASS

Hi after getting my ASS and using the piezo I have found that having this extra tone is a great device and makes the ASS EVEN MORE versatile!!!!


whilst inspecting what was under the hood (the backplate) I noticed that the acoustic/piezo preamp has three adjustable potentiometers I was wondering which each of them do


I was presuming they were bass,treble and a mix control but I didnt know which order they were,can anyone shed some light on this

I dunno how I missed that I was looking at the schematic you have put up with the front control lay out but I couldnt find the piezo controls one

I have a few the Vintage SD9 is superb but I use my Keeley Modded TS9 instead of it

Im just fed up with them lying about doing nothing

and Im actually looking for one of those EH/SOVTEK Small Stone's the one you have...I almost had a heart attack at that gig a few weeks ago when you whipped yours out


and also a Jim Dunlop Rotovibe pedal(the one like the wha)

ohh and not to forget the Fulltone Ultimate Octave

and then thats it,that all the pedals I want

did i tell you the story about that small stone i 'whipped out'?

when i was building up my previous pedal board, i went over to buy a used Deluxe Electric Mistress from a guy. while is was there, he asked if i knew anything about the sovtek small stone he had. vintage fella it was and not working. said he couldn't get it working and i could have it for £10. turned out it only needed a battery!!! muppet.

sadly, well for you anyway, i won't be letting that one go. i used to have a rotovibe on that pedalboard too!! i soon got tired of doing teh river dance though.

i've often thought about going back down that route with the vintage pedals but i'd have to buy a gigrig unit to control it all.

Those vintage SS's go pretty cheap on the bay,bout 30 or 40 quid

the rotovibe is quite expensive though


and the ultimate octave is just....well great
cant believe you got that for £10 thats sickening!!!

never tried one but I was gonna buy a vintage one

i have also thought about getting a gig rig too,that would get rid of the big foot controller too if i could get three amp switchers on it

I heard you are eventually gonna have about 12 distortion sounds soon

in theory i could have 12!! in fact i could have more if i utilise the mix control of the v-twin rack. but that's just getting daft. i think i'm set with the 2 on the lonestar, the keeley DS1 and the standard DS 1, the 2 channels of the v-twin rack and the MXR ZW44!!
