I finally used my Luke last night with an all tube amp (B-52 AT-100)and i gotta tell you it just sang for me. Great tone, actually unbelivable tone. I highly recommend it for those who want a MesaBoogie Triple Rectifier tone, but for half the cost. And it brought the ladies up on stage!!! booya.

Being married and in a band is awesome!!!! ;) :p

Sorry the pics aren't the best, the bar/restaurant we played was setup weird.

I've tried B-52 amps a few weeks ago for the first time. I've tried AT-100 and AT-212 and I really liked them both.
But I didn't really like the cabinet that goes with AT-100. It lacked a bit of bottom end to my ears.
Another thing that I noticed is that B-52 amps are extremely heavy.
I think the AT-100 head is about 3 times heavier than my Laney GH50L.
I've always considered old Marshalls to be heavy. I have a '72 Marshall Plexi Super Lead 100 in my basement and AT-100 is waaay heavier.

Other than that, they're really great amps for the price

Looking good. B-52 amps are great for the money. Got to try my Luke through one of them some time.

yes, it is extremely heavy, i think it's 53 pounds. i'm using an old lee jackson 4x12 but i'mthinking of getting Genz Benz 2x12 cab, for portability reasons.

I've played a few venues like that with the railing, BTW what songs do you play?

That was my 2nd to last show with my current band and we do "Party rock" type stuff, anything from Fall out Boy to Journey and Foo Fighters, Neil Diamond to Jenny 867-5309.(people request it EVERY show, yikes.) But my new band is gonna concentrate on more hard rock stuff like Tool, Rage, Shinedown, Sevendust, Alice in Chains, AC/DC etc.
