which do I Choose

Hey all
Im new to this forum and have been trying to research all I can to invest in my very first EB and Im STILL torn between the BONGO HH or Stingray4 HH...

I love the sound and action of the STR4 .. but have no exp playing a bongo so I am limited to my decision...

Can Anyone help me please...

theyre 2 very different basses my friend. given what i consider such a big difference in the two i couldnt feel good by saying "get this" or "get that". id highly suggest you try n check out a bongo cuz it is indeed a good bass and you should bass your decision on experience if at all possible.

personally i have and love both. id be hard pressed to choose between em.

I completely agree with Phatty -
both are great bass guitars in their own way ... you won't be disappointed in either,
best advice I can give is to try 'em both and make your own mind up.

And keep us all updated when you make your decision - (pics will be required!)

Then get one. There's simply no subsitute for a Stingray.

And after a while, add a Bongo to the collection.

However, consider the HS combination for the StingRay as well...

A surprising number of those are mine, but not fourteen. I think that's how many we had over here that night.

Those also came from Oldtoe, SmallEQ, Mobay, our old pal Ray Duke, Soulfinger and probably a few I can't remember now.

No kidding. Those are some beautiful bongos. Almost makes me want to play bass..............well not really.

good luck! MM makes remarkable basses. theyre the only "brand" of bass i own or play.
