GREAT news! I'm hoping that you're planning to give EBMM more page space in your regular catalog as well. I look forward to seeing the changes!

Please get Petruccis !!!

Not only in Musicians Friend, but GF to, since they are basically the same. Not only the basic color, and only color online, which is Pearl Redburst.

my understanding was EBMM only sent them certain specific colours?

I dont get why they would. When you go online, they only have 1 color. They should have more options, when the JP has MORE than 9-10. ( Not sure exactly)

I never heard of anything bad from musicians friend and I've never had any bad experiences from them. I bought a good portion of my equipment from them in my earlier days of playing guitar. I would lvoe to see some exotics or maybe even a MF EBMM Special that you can't get anywhere else then MF. Like maybe a special finish or some kind of LE ASS. I can't wait to see what the end result is.

Yeah, I've been wondering why EBMM guitars are not represented in the MF catalogs....So, how would we know when the KOA AXIS (drooling) would be available?

The Koa's and a bunch of other cool guitars and basses will be posted tomorrow. "D.Salsa" has been snapping pics the last few days and cropping images for you guys. It is taking a little longer because of the learning curve and the fact we are moving the booth to a different part of the factory.

I'll post a link as soon as they are in stock and live. Though we only have a few. We do have a few Family Reserve guitars that just arrived. They are live on the site but are waiting to be photo'd.

RE. Catalog space. Unfortunatly catalog space is really limited and Im held to very strict guidlines for what I choose on the page paying for the cost of that page space. EBMM sales with us just are not there yet for a large catalog spread.

My plan.. get the web presentation up to date with a better selection, including our PRG site with better images and serialized models. More web sales equals catalog space.

I thinkthe PRG site really will be a better space for the instruments more so then the catalog, real time, real photos of each instrument, weights, serial numbers and personal inspections.

Stay tuned.

Kind of a chicken-and-egg thing, though, right? Which one starts the other?

I know plenty of "mid-lifers" that have the $$$ but don't even know EBMM exists. BUT, they take one look at my JP6 (and get to know a little about the company behind it), and they become believers!

Personally, I love window shopping at GC/MF, but won't buy anything there unless its one of their blowouts. My local gives me the best pricing on everything. Especially EBMM. The one thing that held me back from the BFR luke in Minneapolis was, ultimately, the price.
