I'm speachless, really, has there ever been a more beautiful bass?

I was thinking the same thing. The color is perfect. I like the regular (if you can call them regular) 20th and I love the Tony Levin trans-black, but that blue is so over-the-top that I can't imagine a better color or better-looking bass.

Actually, it kinda sucks.

European BFR:s?

So does anyone know what which four European countries were lucky enough to get their hands on one of these babies?

I know Bruce here in Gothenburg, Sweden, with his store MUG has a good MusicMan stock. And he also says he knows Sterling personally.

Big Poppa, do you know who I'm talking about, or was he just trying to impress me?:D

We French people didn't have the chance to get even one. I know the distributor had tried, but unfortunately France did not win the lottery. :(

Isn't there ANY chance for a second quota to be released ?

France did have a chance, but just as you said the their name wasn't drawn in the lottery.

No second runs on these.....The reason we only made ten is because we used the original first 10 SR5 bridges that were produced. This really is the cream of the crop, and the 20 year old prestine bridge makes it a true collectors item. This is the great thing about the BFR line guys....you never know what BP and the boys might come up with....its a ton of funn seeing what Dargin, Dudley, BP, Drew, Jon and the others come up with.

sorry about the bookmatching.......

Yeah. Shame, really. That top sucks. :D

BP, I'm rapidly coming to the conclusion that you're making basses too nice to be owned by most of us. In between this and the koa SR5s... if I bought one I'd be ashamed to play it because I'm just not good enough.

I'll get over it. GAS is a great cure for second thoughts.

Just waiting on that BFR Bongo....

Dave, the bass will be on display starting tomorrow :)

The deadly killer is my parents are here from 3 states away and we have dinner plans tomorrow, my wife has plans on Friday and there's no way I could go into your shop with my 2 year because I couldn't afford the bill from damages. Saturday we're bringing the little guy to see Bob The Builder at the Mystic Aquarium and Sunday my friend is having his daughter's 1 year birthday party. Why oh why couldn't you have gotten this BFR next week??? ;) Hopefully it won't be gone by the time I stop in next.

It is on display until after I return from the desert bash. After I get back it will be on sale, provided Colin doesn't hand me a stack of Benjamins while at the party

Benjamins? Whew - I thought for sure you'd be looking for a stack of Clevelands. ;)

Now this is worthy of the question "Would you gig this piece of history?" There's no doubt in my mind.
