Hello,

I just got my first MM and Wow! My new JP6 is without question the finest guitar I've played or owned. Thanks to Music Man and J. P. for creating a beast of such beauty.

I know this may make some ill but this guitar is a group Birthday gift (yes a milestone) from my family and the brainchild of my fiancée.... thanks K-LO!

Gratz! What a cool birthday present. I remember my first MM, there is no other guitar to compare a MM to, they are simply amazing. Welcome to the GAS club:)

Get some pics on here. The rule of thumb is, no pics, no guitar!!:)

Thank you Big Poppa and everyone for the warm welcome. I'll upload some pics in the next day or two. I haven't had enough time to put her down and wipe the grin from my face!

JP all the way.

I'm starting to believe that I am the only one on the forums who does not have a Music Man. My day will come. ;)

Wow this thing is a beaut ! You lucky dawg.

I am lucky, no question. I hope you find yours soon.

Regarding initial thoughts on this axe - sensational!

This guitar really comes through when you push your technique and abilities, look who helped create it! The Piezo is a gem, trust me you will find many ways to use it. When it's time to shred, this guitar is superb. The Tremelo is really nice and I love the locking tuners; string changes are a breeze. When strapped in this guitar is weighted beatifully and is contoured to fit like a glove.

So far its like a great Rush album, the more you play-it the better it gets!
