That Axis has the most awesome neck on it I've seen in a wicked long time. :)

WOw i think the redwood one is the killer one.....

It's more visually impactful, but don't sell yourself short on the Makore either. It has a degree of nuance in the figuring seldom seen in maple (or any other hardwood). Not just that, the bookmatching on that one is superb, the chevron actually looks like a natural part of the figuring as opposed to a jointed split.

Been playing a lot of 6-string recently ....

and those guitars look incredible ....

EBMM have excelled themselves (again)

Just planning my next buy - and am currently stuck between a Bongo or an Axis
that redwood looks amazing.
