So i just got my new to me, minto condition Buttercreme SR4.. and after playing with it for few days, i keep wondering whether my new bass is yellow or white? I'm leaning more towards yellow. What do you guys that own these think? the color is very different in person that it is on a pc screen. But all in all its the classiest bass i have ever owned.

Creamy goodness ....

I would describe mine as off-white (with a hint of yellow) ....

That colour always looks better with a bit of wear on it IMHO :)

Next time you get a chance, make up a batch of buttercream icing. I am tellin' ya, the EBMM boys got it straight from Duncan Hines. My all time favorite color they have done.

Yellowed.
I call it a vintage white, which means it's yellowed.
I also have an old white 78 Ray that has yellowed, and my buttercream Ray is about the same color.

i would choose the white one (maple, mhs, tort or blackice pg) over a buttercream one.

I've got a Buttercream Bongo and, to me, it literally looks like the colour of Butter.
In that sense, it's extremely well named.

What colour is butter? :)

I think it looks awesome.

Mine looks different depending on the light. I took my SS camping a few weeks back and was playing it outside and it really yellowed up in the sun. Indoors it is much more subdued.

A very cool color, and probably my favorite of the LE finishes so far.
