Guys,

I sincerely appreciate all your comments here. I especially appreciate how you have taken a sincere interest in my own happiness and contentment with either the Y2D or an original SM model. I also appreciate how the owner of the company gets involved. I'm just honored and so glad to be a part of this group here. Some of you have PMed me and some I have even spoken with on the phone concerning these issues.

I have made a decision to let the Y2D go in favor of an original SM model. I have thought long and hard about it and even prayed for direction and a spirit of contentment here. For some, a guitar is a tool in their arsenal. They grab the right one for the occasion for which it fits. For me, a guitar is like the samurai's sword. It has part of his soul in it. It's his identity and personality. It says who he is (I have studied Kenjutsu and Iaido for 20+ years).

Now, I might not go that far with a guitar; but that's one reason I have always been a one-guitar guy. I feel, that the original SM model would fit me. That said, I'm going to find a way to sell or trade my new Y2D that will yield me an original SM model.

Maybe then, my post count will be elevated by more productive threads and not by threads of me trying to "find myself and the perfect guitar".....

Cheers,

if it hasn't sold I'm interested...

Hi Colin,

It has not sold yet. It sits in its case awaiting a good deal for me. Pete DuBaldo is working on something for me. I don't know what it is or if it will pan out for us. He's been working it for a couple of days; so I want to see it through.

I have sent you a PM basically saying this same thing. I thought that if I answered your post here with simply "PM sent", that people might get the idea I was working on something behind Pete's back. I thought it better to be up front...

Cheers,
