...you sure get a H**L of a lot of bass!!!

I just received my 2nd SUB. My first one had some issues (do in most part to the original owner...) However this 2nd one is GREAT!

I paid $435 plus shipping (had to ship it all the way to Seoul South Korea...$123...still well worth it!)

It just flat out KILLS!! I have always wanted a 'ray but have been overseas for the last few years and couldn't afford the cost. (standard 'ray runs more than my monthly income...the stunning 30th is close to two---fact of life living abroad...)

Love the hardware...great tuners, great bridge. The nut on this one is much nicer than on the first...it seems like a compensated nut one sees on standard line EBMMs....

Great tone. The 2 band EQ is very useable and perfect for a working bass. I gig twice a week for about 3 hrs a night and needed a sturdy, workhorse bass that sounded good. This fits the bill and then some!

Anyways for the price these go for used they are an utter steal!!!!

Now to start socking away gig money for my next trip back home to pick up a full on 'ray. :)

I think you're okay.

(Pssst - I'm a moderator so it might even be true.)

I love SUBs.

Jack

PS: Might be the price thing, but SUBs are discontinued so - no issue.

sorry....I will edit. I just meant to say that for that $$ THEY ARE AMAZING>> for twice that they would be a great value.

Had mine at a gig last night....a TON of comments on the sound. I am 100% sold on getting a full on SR when I go home next. Would love a green SR (love the Dargie color) with matching headstock and black or brown tort PG....DROOL>>>>>>>

Had the SUB at Saturday night's gig as well. Kicked a great deal of tail. Fun to play, sounds great...whats not to like?

I strung it with D'Adarrio HEAVY Half Flats - .55-.110 very nice tone

Mike Gallo from Agnostic Front plays a SUB and loves it! I REALLY regret having to sell mine but at the time I had to sell my entire collection due to being on disability and the pay sucked. Been back to work since June and hopefully I'll be out of the financial hole I'm still fighting to get out of due to being out on disability for 6 months. I am in the process of looking for a SUB or any other EBMM bass I can find within my extremely limited budget right now so I can rejoin the band and get back out there.

To get back on topic, the SUB basses are fantastic and always a great addition to any collection!:)
