This one is about as light as the SmallEQ Bongo (which is very, very light)

Bongos may rule my taste in basses right now but a Stingray will always feel right. The classic look, the waxed neck, the high E on the G string (makes perfect sense to me!) and the unmistakable, aggressive, in your face tone.

Thanks Pete :D

Timmy yeah it's a 4 HP

TK, I think I'll call it the "Not Bongo" kinda like the "Not Orange" bass that someone here has.

So yours is light too, eh? 8 lb range? They must have gotten a feather weight batch of ash for the LE's this year.

Looks great...yup, love the Blue dawn/maple board combo! ;)

Must be something in the trees this year CCD, my Dargie is fairly light also. I'm getting spoiled.

Heya Jack. Yeah, it's not only pretty it was also ready to play OOTB. Low action, perfect intonation. They have a heckuva set up person in SLO.

The last Stingray I, um, acquired was the same way. God bless 'em, eh?

The Not Bongo and I will be playing a small party tonight.

Stingray + SWR = Clear, articulate notes!

Geezus I'm posting @ 4 AM. I need to retire from the Navy.
