Hey guys,
So I am finally gonna start writing and recording again after a long hiatus...
I am loving the sound of this Silhouette Special (HSS) through this Mesa Mark IV. I was never a big fan of single coil stratty sounds until now. It almost seems like playing high gain leads on the single coils makes you have to produce better tone with your fingers than if you were playing through humbuckers... I've always had an easier time playing lazier and still getting a decent sound out of a neck humbucker way up the neck... these single coils are making me work for my tone (and I am loving it)...
Anyway, it's just a short clip of a "chorus" type of idea for a song. Any honest feedback would be much appreciated.

(BTW, all of the guitars are completely dry, recorded with a single SM57, no EQ or anything applied, it is just a rough mix)
I am so loving this Silhouette!
EDIT: I updated the clip, I applied a little EQing and rewrote some of the melody
