Can't wait to get one in my hands and take it apart :)

I thought I was the only one who likes to do this. I love getting new gear and taking it apart to see what makes it tick... I just make sure to take pictures or draw a diagram so that I can put it back together when my tinkering is done .

There is really no schedule for announcing the LE color, I believe. Last year, we heard at the forum party. This year, we, obviously, did not. I imagine that we will probably know by the winter NAMM show.

I was wondering what was the LE version of JP model, black with gold equipment? Was it a anniversary or something? I jut can't find any information about it and I really liked that one...plus JP used it on the latest show in Poland :) Outstanding guitar :)

emkey, in 2006 we did black with gold hardware. The coveted "L4".

In 2006, the limited edition instruments featured the black paint and gold hardware. The guitar you are referring to is a Ball Family Reserve version of the JP guitar. It has not been marketed. As far as I know, only JP has one (with the exception of maybe one more for the factory/EBMM vault) in that color scheme.

That's the LE color scheme for 2006 - all models, not just the JP - details available if you search back

thank you all :D I'm saving money for my very first JP model and I have 4 versions in the interest so far. Just wanted to know what to ask my dealer :)

so it seems I love:
2006 LE
2007 LE
redburst pearl
bfr bahama blue flame top

I'll probably order the guitar next week or a week later, so I have to decide quick! I know there might be a problem with getting 2006 LE, but who knows :)

best to you guys, best to EB

No reason to discuss any further:

The 2008LTD will feature swamp ash bodies in transpearent white and maple boards on all models... Well, that's what I hope, anyway.

Either trans white or natural. (If I don't like the trans white I can always "fix it" myself) Still, I think you are talking about something called a Knot-Rocker. I wonder if there is any word on that.

I too anxiously await the announcement of what (if any) the 2008 le is.

Good Times......:)
