Well, let this be a lesson to everyone. Insure your equipment. I did not. My drummer called and said that our practice space had caught fire and everything was lost. I got over to his house and indeed....it was burned to the ground. From what I can gather, it was set intentionally....probably some kids with nothing better to do with themselves....but who knows. I lost my Stealth, my 5 string, my JP, my amp, cab and a few other items. Just totally bums me out. This was my only "out" and enjoyment as I am going through some personal issues.

The only good news....my LE bongo was at my house because I broke a tuning peg and string and I brought it home to work on it.

Again, if your guitars/basses and what not is somewhere else....INSURE IT!

All I will say....they person or persons who set this fire....better hope the police get them before I do.

Oh crap. I'm really sorry for your loss. At this step is this for sure a criminal fire ?

Man, if you ever need anything to get an EBMM back, please let us know. I'm pretty sure most knuckleheads here will help.

Sincerely,
JL

Hey...If everyone's up for it....maybe we could start a little knucklehead fund, and try to replace some of his gear....Our store will help in any way we can.
Let me know!

Best of luck to you.

Wow Koogs. Sorry to hear of the major loss. If there is anything
i can do, I'll definately help you out as well.

In a way, I'd like you to get to these punks first----only w/ the guarantee you wouldn't get caught. There are no more consequences for these morons anymore. I could go on, but I'll leave it at that before my blood pressure goes up and my blood starts boiling.

Koogie ... sounds like your practice space was at your buddy's house. I'm wondering if his house insurance would cover the loss.

Koogs, you know I have some extra stuff laying around. Basses, a head or two, even some cabs. Say the word, brother.

Sorry to hear that man!!!

you gotta be angry:mad::mad:
and yeah I insured my gear a few years ago and its the best piece of mind I have,I havent had to claim yet(fingerscrossed) but it just makes you feel better taking it to shows and even goint to sleep at night knowing that if there is a fire you can just leave your Mesa to burn..

I would grab my balls though...they cant and will never burn!
sorry to hear that

Yes...I actually bought a fire proof safe just for that one! It never leaves the house and it means more to me (material possession that is) than anything on the planet.

I got off the phone with my drummer, police, fire department and a few "other" organizations. My drummer is still in the middle of the police report, the fire department is in the middle of it's investigation (but even Ray Charles could see it was intentional....I know about these things) and I talked to my drummer who has the insurance people coming out. I am not sure if his homeowner's will cover my gear or not. IF so...great....if not....not so great. So, we'll see.

All you knuckleheads...you are awesome as always and the jesture to help is very much appreciated. I suggest a "wait and see" approach. I hate asking for help and that was not my intent. I just wanted to vent some frustration as my life has been spiraling out of control as of late. This just added more fuel to the fire...no pun intended.

The story I got from the police is....a few things were set on fire last night within the area. Halloween can bring out some idiots.....and they suspect (but cannot prove yet) that it is the same person or persons. Only because of what was set on fire and how it was done by an initial first look.

Again, I catch them....sharks are a hungry lot....and I can inventive.

Pops.....I will send you an e-mail once things are more in detail and I get better answers to my questions.

Again, I love you guys/gals.....and just throw some good karma my way...that is all I ask.

Ees cool, Koogs.

But PM me or email me, even better, if you need anything like a loaner.

Email is MYUSERNAME(at)tx(dot)rr(dot)com. In case you don't already have it.

That's terrible news, Koogs. Sorry to hear about the fire. I'm sending lots of good karma your way. I don't know what these asses are thinking when they pull this crap. Because it happened at your drummers house, someone could have been injured or killed. Yep, if they know what's good for them, they should be hoping the cops get them before you do...........Then again, a little part of me hopes you get to them first.;)
