The Loss

Well, let this be a lesson to everyone. Insure your equipment. I did not. My drummer called and said that our practice space had caught fire and everything was lost. I got over to his house and indeed....it was burned to the ground. From what I can gather, it was set intentionally....probably some kids with nothing better to do with themselves....but who knows. I lost my Stealth, my 5 string, my JP, my amp, cab and a few other items. Just totally bums me out. This was my only "out" and enjoyment as I am going through some personal issues.

The only good news....my LE bongo was at my house because I broke a tuning peg and string and I brought it home to work on it.

Again, if your guitars/basses and what not is somewhere else....INSURE IT!

All I will say....they person or persons who set this fire....better hope the police get them before I do.

Kooge,
My heart goes out too you, Man I know how sick one can feel, Back in 1998 my own Storage Place was robbed I Lost 30K of Walter Woods Amps, Music Man Basses and some ultra Rare 50's and 60's Fender basses, just to learn 4 months after the Police thinks it was an Inside job due to nothing was on video which ran 24/7 and it was a clean job.
But for today my heart is with you.

****ers. Dammit Koogs, when it rains it pours. Stay tough buddy- you have a ton of good Karma coming your way in the near future what with everything going on.

Fingers crossed for the insurance. I am IN for a collective pool if things don't work out- you deserve better buddy.

My heart goes out to you too, koogs. And as much as we all hate thieves, I hope the police catch them before you do. Personally, I'd rather see them turned into someone's bee-otch than shark food.

We stand ready to help from the Left Coast.

Sorry to hear it -- am sending good karma your way -- so glad you had your LE at home. Amplifiers can be replaced, but basses are more personal.

Keep playing!

How about a fund for a reward for information leading to the arrest of those responsible for this?
