Tony - wow, what a find! Am I correct in guessing you just bought this new from my friend NJ Jay? In any event, 3/28/97 is the production date, during the brief period of time we offered the Axis in a hardtail version. Sent to New Jersey Guitar and Bass Center in Edison, NJ. Very sweet!

I got it off of eBay, and I don't know what his username is there. I think it's used. It does have a warranty sheet in the case, but I think I'm the second owner.

Here we go....my JP7 Pearl Redburst was sold as of yesterday....no need to have two 7s. I ended up getting a new and beautiful JP6 in Black. The birdseye on this neck is gorgeous!

Could you please date it: 89035
It has Schaller tuners and a strange tremolo bridge.
It also has a HSS-config and it's color is fire red.
It's a maple neck model.

Is it made in 1989?

What else can you tell me about that guitar?

Your Silhouette in Blueburst was completed on 11/28/89. It was orignally equpped with Schaller HSS pickups and would have had a Schaller tremolo system on board.
