Thanks to everyone for their advice and guidance on my next EBMM purchase. I just ordered a Candy red Silo Special, HSS, Hardtail, Maple, non-matching headstock, with black pearloid pick guard. oh, and it's a lefty. (sorry to disappoint)Now comes the hard part.........waiting for it!
And I want to give a shout out to Jeff and Michael at YeOldeMusicShop.com, for their great service and support. They are a South Carolina EBMM dealer. Check them out. (Jeff is "JeffreyB" here on the forums) I look forward to ordering more in the near future.

Lefty, bet yer gonna love it. HSS Silo Special covers so much turf it's ridiculous.

Looking at the picture, does the decal really lie upside-down on a lefty? Never noticed that before.

No, my Luke decal is correct. I think thats just for the website, they flip the image of a righty. (normal guitar)

yup. : )

just being a lefty makes no sense. But oh, I tried.

I'm lefty too, but I learned to play guitar the right way. HaHa, just kidding! Actually, it's what was available when I started playing back in '65, so I had little choice.

I tried, i really did. My first teacher gave me a righty and begged me to try because he said i would have a miserable left handed guitar life. Boy was he right, until EBMM came along. No more cheap-@ss I****z guitars or overpiced P*S guitars. Now, we just need that lefty JP model and i'll be all set.

(it's been awhile since I begged for one, had to throw it out there) :D

Nice choices, congratulations, it looks great! How long did it take you to decide?

I'm in color/pickguard decision "Hell" myself right now on a Silo Special HSS with trem, piezo, and rosewood board. Got the colors narrowed down to seven, including Candy Red with black pearloid PG :). Great problem to have, eh?

Of course, you can't just pick the color, you gotta pick the pickguard too. And the color and fretboard wood affects the headstock decision. But, for colors, I've got it "narrowed down" to:

Again, it's a great problem having all these choices! I may have to hold out to see what the 2008 LE really looks like as well  :D

GH

I've benn thinking about it for about a month or so. I was going back and forth between White on white and the red I ended up choosing.

I love desert gold, but was not an option for me.

Why is Desert Gold not an option? Is that a lefty thing?
