It's a BFR and it's mine! (now with pics!)

Dropped Colin an email yesterday, and got the phone call from him today.

Should be at my doorstep by this time next week once the funds are cleared.

It's the first one ever to be sold (not merely ordered) in Australia, which means Colin (by his own admission) has sold the first BFR Luke AND the first BFR JP6 in Australia!

I guess that award is justified :)

Here are the pics that I took as soon as I opened the case.

Killler top there. To me, the BFR JP is best represented by a blackburst. Yours is one of the best I have seen. Congrats!

I love the way the the quilt wraps around the bridge - very very nice.

Is it me, or does the blackburst colour seem to bring out the best in the tops? The very best ones I've seen have all been black.

Awesome!

Thanks EBMM for photographing these guitars - without them I most certainly would not have been tempted as much as I was!

That's gorgeous! Breathtaking. Congrats!! What a stunning top. I'm sure you will enjoy it. It's tempting to start collecting BFRs, each is unique. (Colin, if I ever win tattslotto...expect another call :D)

Amen! What other company would go to so much trouble!? Seriously impressed.

PS My 14-year old daughter wanted a photo of my soon-to-arrive BFR Luke...no problem thanks to EBMM. I gave her the photo...and now she's showing it to the kids in her band, bragging about what a "real" guitar looks like. :D

...and my guess is he'll sell the first BFR AL in Australia when that's available (am I right, Rob?!) ;)
