Hi everybody,
I need your help on this: my bass player has an almost 20-year old Stingray Bass.
It's the four string model with 3-band EQ.
The problem is that he does not like the color, I think the color is called 'teal green'.
It is a see-thru finish, not a solid color.
His idea is to have someone take off the finish and then leave the body as is.
Maybe put some oil and wax on it but nothing else, no re-finish planned.
I told him better not to do it but rather maybe try and sell the instrument and replace it with a Stingray in another color.
What do you think?
