Hi,

I'm on my second Al. The first one was SSS, while the new one is MM90 equipped. I was on the lookout for one of these, but I couldn't seem to find much. I contacted customer service and asked if they knew of any that were is stock somewhere. Dan, who has helped me out in the past, let me know of a few at some of the dealers. He also told me that they had an Al that met my needs in stock @ EBMM, which was quite unusual. Dan is the man.

At this point I started discussion with forum member JeffreyB from Ye Olde Music Shop in South Carolina (happens to be the state where I grew up). Jeffery took really good care of me from start to finish. I strongly recommend him as a dealer. I'm already planning the next guitar!

Here are some pics of the Al and me enjoying the Al. My 8 year old girl took the pics of me and the guitar together. She did a fine job. The color combo with the pickguard (graphite pearl + abalone) is killer, and the birdseye is amazing. Enjoy!

I'm excited for you, Skye....and thanks for sharing the pics. It was meant to be when you told me that you were looking for an AL in GP, and I called Dan to order one and found that they had one in stock! Dan at EB really stepped up and went the extra mile for us...

We should have our last 07LE AL in by next week...I'll post pics when it arrives.

Sound clips are in order, when you get a chance!

THANKS AGAIN!
-Jeff

Congrats, that's a great looking guitar!

Are you sure it's Graphite Pearl? Looks kind of dark, almost as dark as the case interior...could it be Sapphire Black?

I'm not asking to be a know-it-all, it's just that I'm ordering a Silo on Monday, and was seriously considering GP + Abalone.

Thanks,
GH

Are you talking about an AL SSS from Frederick's in Goldsboro, NC, sometime last year I think? I saw that guitar listed on the dealer website, called them to see if it was still available, and they said they had sold it just the day before.

Robert

That's exactly what I was thinking! It could just be the lighting though.

Either way, nice catch!!!! Congrats.

Never mind... I just re-read the thread, and I doubt you, Dan, and Jeff are all wrong

That is one stunning pickguard! Really a beauty all the way around. Congrats!

So what happened to the other AL? Still have it or did it hit the chopping block?

No, the other AL did not hit the chopping block. I have two AL guitars now. Shouldn't everyone have at least one SSS and one MM90 AL?
