I've noticed many of you have some absolutely stunning photo's of your instruments, all of which appear to be shot in a fairly high resolution. So with the size limitations for posting, how are you attaching your files?

My photo's are typically in the 700k range each, and when I compress them, the look like crap. Can you knuckleheads help a brother out?

Thanks much,

I had the same question and Jack helped me out....

"the best/easiest way to do it is get yourself a free photo hosting account (I use www.photobucket.com) and then you can just copy the image code into the body of your post."

Hope that helps.

How much spam comes from Photobucket? I read their privacy policy and saw that they reserve the right to send you emails, including ads for third party companies.

For resizing purposes, anything larger than 800 pixels wide will get reduced here on the forum and have that yellow bar on the top that you have to click on to get the pic full size.

Just make sure you size your pics at a max of 800 pixels wide and they'll be shown in their full glory!
