SR5HH Making the cab swap yes or no?

Give back the Ampeg Pro Series PR-410HLF for the Eden D410XLT?

I realize I made a mistake and now want to take back my Ampeg and do an even swap for the Eden. They both sound great, both 4 ohm but the Eden is much lighter than the oversized massice Pro Series Ampeg.

I know only I can make that decision but I am looking for opinion. The store is willing to take it back for an even swap.

My music and equipment is determined by sound.

You know what you would like to do and they told you that it could be done.

Not sure about where your question was but I will ask one.

Which cab sounds best to you?

That would be the answer right there to me.

Try the Eden 410xst...lower lows less midrange bark..somewhat similar voicing to the HLF but more hi-fi.

Ampegs are overrated. Seeing the SVT head coupled with the 8x10 these days is NOT cool...it's cliche. I always get a kick out of seeing young bands hauling one of those refrigerators around with them, yet seeing a professional bass player bringing in a nice 1x12 and sounding much better.

Maybe it depends on the bass?

StingRay 4 + Ampeg Fridge gave me incredibly good sound. However, I can't afford any of these, nor can I lug them around.

I may not like Eden heads, but the Eden cabs are fantastic.

Yeah, I don't get the 1x12 vs fridge dig...I don't play or like SVT's, but there's no way a 1x12 cab would keep up with my band.
