I actually just got off the phone with CS. Very nice guy named AJ helped me out, got a return authorization and I'm sending it off hopefully Friday. Unfortunately it's not under warranty but oh well.

I did a bunch of research on the web (couldn't find crap) and here's the problem with the guitar. When I switch to piezo mode on my JP6, I get a very noticeable white noise sound in addition to the sound of the strings being plucked. Also, my piezo output volume has gotten tiny to say the least. I did change out the battery to be sure, but to no avail. I have called a couple music stores in my area and they said that it sounds like a problem with my piezo preamp and to bring it in. I think I'd rather send it back to SLO and have Jon the guitar repair god fix it.

Has anyone encountered any problems like mine with their piezo? Puzzled I can't find much info on this problem. Thanks.

i also have a problem with white noise... it seems to come for a little bit, then it disappears... but mine happens even when it's plugged into the mono (no piezo)

I had the same thing on a silhouette. Send it to EBMM for repair. I think the turnaround on my repair was one day.

Matty,

What did EB state was the issue with the Piezo? I'm having the same issue with my Axis and opened a thread.

My guitar was fixed by some immaculate means. The piezo has been working fine for a while now, and still is. Strange, but I'm happy it's working now.

Where was it fixed? Did you send it back to EB? How was it fixed and what was wrong?

I'm wondering also now if there always was low level bleed through on the piezo and this is normal or something happened with the pot?
