but i just found some videos of silo specials and i feel that i have to post it because it's a very nice sample of how silo spe pick ups sound

That's me on the Richter 5.8/Silhouette Special. I absolutely love how that combination sounds and thanks for the compliments. If you're not familiar with Richter, it's 5 or 8 watts depending on tube selection (6v6=5watts, 6l6=8 watts) with a switchable bias in the back. It sounds even bigger in person with a surprisingly big bass response. Sara Richter builds those amps outside of Chicago.

And as you all know, the Silhouette plays itself. I have had it for under a year and it's well worn already!

Thanks Abraham! I made the video in the format I like to hear amp clips when shopping for an amp - just simple chords and a little noodling for definition. I also like to know what pickup combinations are being used as well.

The next demo I make will be Silhouette - POD XTlive - Tech 21 Power Engine. Not a tube in the chain but sounds great!
