Ok, well I feel like ordering a bunch, and I already have Rock Discipline, I have Speed Mechanics for Lead Guitar by Troy Stetina on my list as well as Wild Stringdom by John Petrucci.

Any other books you guys can recommend?

Few I know:

Zakk Wylde - Pentatonic Hardcore
Paul Gilbert - Guitar From Mars

...but you know what? These days we have youtube and you can find there a lot of videos with some lessons you might be looking for, a lot of live footages, so you can figure out how to play or what to play...or at least you just can listen to the music you like and think about it. You have to feel how/why/what to play :)

I've always found that I'm really a big fan of physically having a book and I learn better that way. I'm a big fan of supporting the artist too, so books are the way to go for me.

I think Troys books are the best instructional material I have ever used. Very user friendly, very concise and well thought out. Easy for the student to understand. Great step by step logical order.
