Okay, once was weird.

Twice was just beyond comprehension.

On the skinny side, if such a thing exists, and I'm not saying it does, there have been two incidents in which guitarists could not figure out how to open AN UNLOCKED CASE.

And they actually posted about it. Hand-wringing, "What do I do, what do I do?"

I love you bassists.

Please don't categorize me with the newbies!
I know how to open the case!
Maybe they use to be bass players?
Or worse yet, drummers!!!!

How do you get a drummer off your front porch? Pay him or her for the pizza.

Just saw that the other day & had to laugh. Nothing against drummers, of course - where would the world be without 'em?

Maybe he was sooo overwhelmed with his purchase he couldn't think straight.

The only time I ever had trouble getting a case open was an acoustic case that had the extra latch on the back. Within 5 seconds and no help from a forum it was open. :D

Jack,

You know darn well, those were paid informants!!

They were Secret Service Bass Player "double agents" just trying to get some dirt on us guitar players.

They didn't bother telling you that they made one fatal mistake - it was one of their own bass cases that they couldn't open (they forgot to switch it out)!

Mission Accomplished I say!!

I always wondered why Tyler doesn't take his 20th Silhouette out anywhere.

He can't open the case.

My BFR just arrived.

But, unfortunately, me being me, I can't actually get the case open. I opened one lock, and apparently there are two others, but they are held closed by locks, and the key I suspect is inside the case.

How do I get it open?

Slide the button on the left to the left,
the one on the right to the right :)

Thanks man, the lock popped up and hit me in the face but damn this thing is BEAUTIFUL!

Just picture it... If this doesn't make you laugh, nothing will! :p

And I'm sure Charles is a great guy - and we know he has a beautifully classy guitar which says he's a fine individual 'round these parts, but damn, that's funny! :D

It's like that old joke about the bass player that left his keys in the car * but for real .

* .... took him two hours to get the drummer out

Don't forget, guys, we are all members of a forum where on more than one occasion somebody has asked how to open the battery compartment on a Stingray.
