New MarkBass in the house.

Well after two years and probably 30+ amp/cab configs I decided a short while ago that my favorite pieces were MarkBass amps and Bergantino cabs. Its time to slow down on the trading so I wanted to go for a rig that I felt I could stick with.

I put my previous rig on the block and wound up trading for a MarkBass TA501 and Bergantino HT322.

The TA501 is much like the LMKII, but with semi parametric mids and a tube compressor. After rehearsing last night I was VERY impressed with the tube compressor on the MarkBass. Its one of the only onboard compressors that seem to impress me. This is a great sounding amp, much like the LMKII I sold last year.

The Berg HT322 is a GREAT standalone box. It has 2x10s and a 12. Really good pairing with the MB. Im looking forward to spending time with this rig.

Who is the TSanders guy and what did he do with Travis? I know something is up since the there is speak of stopping the rotation.

Invasion of the bass player snatchers indeed.

Well Tom, Ive not been bass player snatched fortunately.

Over the last two years I tried about anything and everything amp/cab related that interested me. These pieces of gear were the ones that I judged all the others by for the sound Im going for.

The only thing Ive left to try isnt out yet, a GK Fusion 550 IF they ever release them.

wasn't the fusion supposed to be out in 2007?

glad you found something to your liking. How's the cab on your back?

The Fusion was supposed to ship towards the end of when I was endorsing GK, so that has to be over 2 years ago now.

As long as it has wheels Im good. My guitarist is always good for a helping hand.
