Welcome SR56funk! Seems like we've already met. Those AV's are great looking basses. The closest I've gotten was the case for one, wich I flipped to another forumite as soon as I got it. Stick around, this place is great.

FYI: My Dargie sounds really nice and fat and has a natural compressed sound! Sounds and is much heavier than my Black Sparkle. The 100th is more mindrangy, snappy, but with very long sustain. I wonder how they compare to a 30th.
We should start a sticky for recordings. Maybe use a common drum loop and bassline that convers some range on the fretboard to be able to do comparable recordings.
