I had some stuff stolen off my front porch (lawn tools of all things) and cleaned my double barrel shot gun outside in plain view the next day. Haven't seen a problem since. Stanky if you ever need to borrow one give me a holler ;)

In Indiana, someone comes into your house you can shoot 'em. We live in a semi-rough neighborhood so I keep a .357 ready with buckshot just in case...

When I worked at the store, they hired a store manager (side story, I vehemently apposed his appointment, said he was a crook) who skived off with over $10k worth of stuff. The moron pawned all of it so we've got him on record everywhere. Incidentally, after we fired him and before he got arrested for failing to appear in court, he worked the floor at Guitar Center. Wonder how much of their stuff he got?

Thieves should be publicly hung the day after they're CAUGHT. Don't give me the nonsense capital punishment is not a deterrent... if you're dead you can't commit the crime again. There was a time before the ACLU when that was common. Our "justice" system is so screwed up.

Yeah we have that right in California too, 'cept any intruder has to be facing you and you have the option to shoot them such as to inhibit their get-away but not to kill, ie. in the face or something.

Aww Man...There have been one too many robbery threads this past year. I'm just glad you didn't have any basses in your truck.
