neoCrow, Your English is fine, as well as your new bass. It was completed on 01/17/06 and it was shipped to Musik Meyer, our fine German distriubutor. The finish is callled Rolls Burgundy.

All the feedback is greatly appreciated!

When I purchased the Sabre back in 1992, it had this finish, which I thought was original (not recently done). Is there any good way I can check to see if the previous owner had this finish re-done at some point?

Carl...Look for signs of other colours in the routing for the pre-amp or pickups. Another place to check is in the neck pocket but the neck has to be removed. My guess is that you have one of those limited colours.

Your StringRay 5 was finished on 11/22/94 and sent to our French distributor, High Tech.

Could you find out, if it is original trans red or a special color like red hot? It looks darker than trans red. I can post pics if you need. The dealer is out of business for a few years now, so i can't ask him. :)

I have Music Man Cutlass #B023151. I don't know exactly which year of production it is - 1982-83?. Can anybody help?
