I heard a rumour that the ex Wolfbone07, ex Dr Bob, ex Kompressaur1, ex DrBob (again), ex Kompressaur1(again, also) Purple Silo Special is now in the hands of your good self ?

Izzat so ?, How are you getting on with the little beaut ?

And this set me thinking on a wider question.
This one EBMM has (excluding the doublers), been through the hands of 4 forumites already. Is that typical ?
Is there another Ball that has been through more Knucklehead's hands ?

Yes indeedy I can confirm that the Purple Silo Special has found it's way into another pair of grubby forum mitts, and is now living a happy new life in Sunbury!

I was going to post something along these lines myself, but I know the rules and haven't had a chance to take any new pics yet so I didn't dare really!

Am enjoying getting to grips with it and being able to get a more authentic Gilmoury type tone than I was previously able to do. Someone has put a small humbucker in the bridge, so am about to put it back to SSS.

By the way, a big public thank you to Pete (Blind Lemon) from Strings and Things who has sent me a gratis replacement already!!

Fair enough! Actually it is a good combo and makes it a very versatile beast, but this one is going to be my 'Strat', so back to SSS it is.

Just realised that I have another 8 guitars with bridge humbuckers.
