I made that thread a few days ago telling how I just paid off my Sterling H/S (black, matching headstock, maple neck, black pick guard). Well guess what, I got a call from Bass NW today saying that my bass just got in!! I hauled ass to the shop and when I got there my buddy Chad went in the back to get my bass and he insisted that today was "my" christmas day so he made me open the case.

HOLY GOD!!

First thing I noticed was how incredibly light this thing was. No way it could be over 8.5 lbs. Im so happy with my purchase, I dont even know where to start. This is one resonant bass. It sings.

So heres the deal, I'm gonna try to borrow a friends camera tomorrow (its cloudy and the sun is going down...doesnt make good picture weather...I live in Seattle, give me a break!) so I can share it with you guys.

BP and the EBMM crew, this thing is a keeper and I can tell its going to bring me joy for many years to come. Thanks so much for making a GREAT bass. Honestly, this thing is just that good.

Peace and take care,
Justin

I played a HS Sterling last week again. The tones you can pull out of that thing are AMAZING. I have joked that will be my bass when I get over 50. Its light weight, the the neck is fast, and its tonally flexible.

Dude, I ended up getting your bass brother off of Eggman! I just purchased a Sterling HS from him, black w/matching headstock, but rosewood fretboard. It gets here next Friday, and I'm sure I'll love it just as much as you love your HS now.

Wow classic!!! I never though I'd like that simple combination so much. I guess I'm spoiled after getting a black silo  congrats on the magnificent acquisition!!

I'll dance on your grave whippersnapper.
50 is the new thirty.

By the way thats only a little over six years away. Right now I'm playing a 10.5lbs 30th Stingray. Love the tone, but after a 2.5 hour practice the back is feeling the weight. That Sterling or Bongo may have to come sooner. Keeping the options open and prepping the wife. :D

:D Cultivate a good chiropractor. Posture's critical. Stretch your back every morning; several yoga exercises are good for that. I'm just delighted I don't have much arthritis in the fingers.
