Outstanding. Now can you tell me (the unwashed) while the HS as opposed to HH? I've put an HS on lay-away (long distance) because I 'think' I'm going to like the tone better than an HH. Any feedback on your decision sir?

I have both. I love the HH. The HS, to me, has a bit mellower tone. Someone else help me out with a description of the tone difference.

Thanks, that's what I was looking for - wanted to be able to get close (on occasion, situation dependant) to a Bickenracker tone without actually having to own one..much less a Fendicali Yazz.

Looks nice! and familiar, I love this forum. It brings a guitarist with a bass and a bassist with a guitar together. All is right with the universe. I see it finally has a proper case as well.

It feels great - I like anchoring on the neck pickup - thus I have never gotten too comfortable with single H models. I don't slap very much, but this one was set up with the single coil screwed down low. Gave a lot more room for the "pop" - but did affect the tone a bit. I raised it back up and as you can guess - got a lot more of the single coil tone.
