Dear forumities,

I have a real problem now and need your advice what to do.
I will try to make the story short:

In the beginning of this year I bought the Black Sparkle JP6 from forum member rmh925 from McAllen in TX. We were in constant touch with PM's. His friend Darren from the same city was helping him to finish this transaction (he is the experienced eBay seller with quite big and positive feedback). According to Darren the guitar was sent on 8 of January with UPS to CHICAGO to the POLAMER company which is big spedition company from POLAND with 35 year experience. They send packages form US to POLAND and vice versa (Polamer, Inc. - paczki do Polski, kwiaty do Polski, sprzęt RTV i AGD) The UPS tracking number - which Darren gave me - was never registered by UPS so I couldn't check the status of my package. I still don't know if the guitar was delivered to POLAMER. I believe Darren sent it - we are still in touch with emails and he is tying to get info form POLAMER and will strat the UPS claim. I tried to contact several times the original owner of the Black Sprakle JP - forumitie rmh925 (Cesar) - but after my payment cleared, Cesar doesn't reply my PMs.
Now I don't have nor money or guitar and nobody knows where it is...

Have you any suggestions what should I do??

To complete the story I have to add that few days after completing the transaction with Darren, I bought another one JP on eBay (Ernie Ball Music Man (MusicMan) John Petrucci Guitar. - eBay (item 200189719002 end time Jan-13-08 13:00:00 PST)). It arrived my home last Staurday. It went from Las Vegas to POLAMER in CHICAGO, and POLAMER delivered it to me in POLAND. The seller gave me the trackin number and I was able to how the package went.

I would be aprecciate of any suggestions and help in my case. Thank you in advance. I am seriously worried now.

It's really between you and the seller. If it was insured, it'll either eventually show up or the shipper should get a refund. If it wasn't, well, you guys will have to figure out how to tackle that.

It looks like he hasn't posted since January so he may not have seen your PMs.. did you get any other contact information besides just his forum name? Email address? Phone number?

I don't understand why there wasn't a tracking # issued. Makes no sense to me. It should be right on the sender's receipt.

I hope that rmh is tied up with some serious personal issue, and he is not able to administer the trade on time.

This is a forum I really enjoy hanging out, with good trusty forumites and I really dont hope to see something ugly like this happening. :(

I had UPS once lose my AL when it was going from Phoniex to Mass. It took a lot of phone calls, but it turns out that the guitar was returned to the original place.

Try doing a Google search, I've found that most people use the same forum name for other forums, it may help you locate the person.

It looks like rmh925 might be a female from texas, there is a person with a Myspace page, but we aren't allowed to access Myspace here from work, so you'll have to check it out on your own.

I don't have any other contact informations besides the name he used in PMs - Cesar. But I have detailed info about the guy who helped Cesar with this transaction (it was required to make the payment via bank wire).

He sent me the trackin number after about 3 weeks of asking him. But after checking it on UPS trackin website there was stated as follows: ">>> The number you entered is not a valid tracking number. Review and update the field below."

But I have never seen the sender's receipt although I asked him to sell me a scan of it.

I have him narrowed down. I have to go somewhere right now...and will be gone for a bit. But, I have a phone number and will call him and see what the deal is.

Man I hate to hear this! A black sparkle has always been my dream JP guitar but it was discontinued by the time I was able to order my first one. This guy actually contacted me to see if I wanted to buy it before Christmas because I'd put a post in the wanted section a while back looking for one. I was in the process of loosing my job at the time so I had to pass. I'll see if I still have any of the info or pics that he sent me and let you know.
